I’m leaving a not-sugar-coated review here, but with the precursor being that they’re overall good gloves.
Big pros: seriously sick aesthetics. I’m using these as work gloves and have already got some compliments on them from coworkers and touring crews. Seriously cool looking. The leather itself is supple yet thick and tough feeling, with good grip and solid construction.
Cons: thick seams, especially in the fingertips, which can be pretty uncomfortable when you’re carrying something heavy and a thick seam catches under your nail. Biggest issue I’m finding is that they’re pretty short in the palm, which makes them both ride up at the wrist and crease up on themselves at a weird angle across the heel. I suppose I could have sized up to get a little more length (?), but as is, I went with a L and they have more room throughout width wise than I was expecting (and I have what I’d consider pretty big hands).
Overall, I think they’ll be fine gloves for what I’m doing, but I feel like at this price point we are paying more for the looks and leather and less for the functionality.
I’m still waiting on mine to arrive after over a month of me ordering them. Took well over the 10 days I was told it would take for the back order to be filled and once they did finally ship (30 days after I purchased) I’m still waiting on them because apparently this company uses the cheapest shipping method they can. I’ve gotten things shipped from Tokyo faster than it’s taken these gloves to get to me from AL or wherever they ship from. Extremely disappointed by the way this was handled, at this point I don’t even care about the product just the waste of my time and energy. Do better
Great gloves, consider sizing down for them to break in. I wish I would have gone a little smaller but that's my fault. Stoked on these things, Thanks from a fellow Denverite.
Quality
Here I was thinking I was buying something made in Denver, CO. USA. They're made in Pakistan. They seem ok. Hopefully they form ok, because they are fitted for people with long skinny fingers and tiny palms.
