THE STORY BEHIND THE ZERO WASTE GLOVE BAG

This story starts with my dad. In the 1980s, he carried a pencil bag from the United Bank of Denver that seemed to hold everything—tools, receipts, a pen and knife, maybe even a story or two. As a kid, I watched that simple bag become a part of his daily rhythm, and something about that stuck with me.

Years later, that memory became the spark for our Unseen Waste Packaging. We didn’t want packaging that gets tossed—we wanted something that integrates into your life. Something you keep. Something useful. A reflection of how design and life can fuse together when done with purpose.

Today, I use mine to hold tools on long car trips. Others use it for snacks, gloves, or gear. But what makes our packaging truly different is not just what it holds—it’s what it avoids: waste.

Each bag is printed with our GS1 codes and embedded marketing, replacing the need for separate tags, stickers, and inserts. One item, many jobs. We reduce waste not just through reuse—but by eliminating the waste we never needed in the first place.

Zero Waste Packaging in Use

No waste. No extras. Just smart packaging with purpose.

How Much Waste Have We Really Avoided?

Let’s do the math. Our bags are roughly 9x12 inches — about the size of a sheet of paper. We ship around 8,000 packages each year. Over 9 years, that’s 72,000 bags. But the impact doesn’t stop there.

If we had used traditional packaging with extra tags, paper inserts, barcodes, and plastic stickers, that could easily triple the waste footprint per order. Instead, we consolidate all that into one reusable bag with printed codes. That’s an estimated 216,000 pieces of unnecessary material we’ve kept out of landfills — just by choosing a better way to design packaging.

That’s the logic of sustainability. No greenwashing. No guessing. Just a commitment to do things better — every single time.

What That Really Means

Over the past nine years and more than 72,000 shipments, we’ve quietly removed hundreds of thousands of disposable packaging components from the waste stream. No poly bags. No tags. No barcode stickers. No throwaway inserts.

A typical order in this industry might include four or five separate pieces of packaging. Ours includes one: a durable, multi-use glove bag that doubles as the product’s container, label, and brand statement. It holds your gear — and it holds our story, printed right into the fabric.

That simple shift has kept over 216,000 unnecessary items out of landfills. That’s less plastic, less paper, fewer adhesives, and a lot less waste.

This isn’t a theory. It’s design with consequences — and those consequences are lighter, smarter, and better for everyone.

If we can help make the world better for our kids’ kids’ kids — then we will do it.
